The word 'Success', is a noun, which means: 'the accomplishment of an aim or purpose'.
Establishing an aim, purpose or goal is always the easy part. Desire is part of human nature and so we constantly find ourselves setting goals of varying degrees and varying time frames. For some, it's a daily occurrence.
How many of these goals do you end up achieving? My guess would be, a few, to none at all.
Ever wonder why humans fail to achieve their goals? Is the goal unattainable, or the weather isn't nice? or one doesn't have the resources to achieve it?
I have a simple answer...we 'suck' at the process! Not at the process of setting goals, but that of achieving them.
We've all read the book, 'The Secret'. And, what it says is correct. I.E 'you manifest that which you think of the most'. However, in a world full of distractions, it's not so easy to control your thoughts and think only of that which you wish to manifest....especially, if it has to be thought of as if you've already achieved it. It can be difficult to think of having something that you know you don't.
We have a dilemma!
The solution to this dilemma, isn't so difficult. Simply, fall in love with the process!
For example, you may establish a goal to lose ten pounds in thirty days.
Goal: Lose 10 pounds in 30 days.
Process: Now, the only way you're going to achieve that goal is if you begin to eat right, establish and follow an exercise regime, and sleep well.
What happens if you hate exercising? What if you dislike eating healthy? Chances are the goal has failed even before you began.
Solution: Fall madly in love with the process. Find ways of exercising, that you both enjoy and find challenging. Find simple healthy recipes that is simple to prepare and tastes great.
When you enjoy the process, it'll be a breeze to follow. The universe will naturally harmonise you with the energy of success....
So, if you wish to muscle up, fall in love with going to the gym and lifting weights.
If you're goal is to become a successful trader, fall in love with the process of trading.
If your goal is to become a great chef, fall in love with the process of cooking.
If you wish to attain higher qualifications, fall in love with studying.
...you get my drift!
You can always work backwards as well. Do up a list of everything that you absolutely love doing. Then, establish a goal inline with those activities, wrapped up in a process.
Fall in love with the process, and you'll find achieving success becomes a breeze.
